Junior Engineering Weekend with Peter's Railway

Introduce your children to engineering first hand. The Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway opens it’s workshop doors to junior engineers to educate them about how steam locomotives work. Alongside Chris Vine, author of Peter’s Railway, you can explore the railway and it’s behind the scenes workings.

Pre-booked tickets include:

Welcome speech

Visit the Loco Shed

Visit the Workshop

Turn the loco on the turntable

The Picnic Train- a light lunch for children.

Light lunch for adults

Ticket include a Romney Rover ticket and a Peter’s Railway book for each child.

This event begins at New Romney Station (TN28 8PL) at 11:15.

Max of 2 children per adult. Max of 20 children.

Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
