Halloween Spooky Specials
Join us for our spooky spectacular, full of family fun, but, beware of the ghostly games and activities.
Members of the RH&DR team will be dressed up to really get into the spirit of Halloween and passengers are invited to do the same.
Friday 27th , Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th
Holders of Romney Rover Halloween Tickets can travel the length of the line all day and enjoy Halloween Activities at Hythe, New Romney and Dungeness.
During the journey take part in the Spooky Search and spot the character cutouts along the line.
Activities will include:

It’s a Nightmare at the Station – Get me Out of Here!!
Dip your hands into the buckets of ghastliness to retrieve the stars! (New Romney)

Mask making (Hythe)

Blood and dirt sandwich making (Dungeness)

To make the most of your day we suggest enjoying the Hythe activities first and then departing on the 1100 train to the next activity station.
For those with limited time, purchase a Special Event Entry for New Romney to access all Halloween Activities at New Romney Station and access to the Model Railway Exhibition, Heritage Centre and Play Areas for just £10 per adult and £5 per child. This ticket does NOT include train travel.
Hythe suggested departure times:
- 1100 - do take part in the Hythe activities first. We suggest a 1015 arrival time.
