Find your way to the RH&DR by using the Ordnance Survey's Get-a-map facility. The Post Code for New Romney Station is TN28 8PL By RoadThe stations at New Romney, Dungeness and Hythe are all on or near the A259 trunk road which gives direct access from the Kent & Sussex coast. Hythe Station is only 3 miles from the M20 junction 11 (singposted) which makes it easily accessible from London, the M25, the Channel Ports and the Eurotunnel terminal at Cheriton. New Romney and Dungeness can be found via the A2070 (from M20 junction 10) and the A259. There are car parks at all major stations. Station Postcodes
By BusStagecoach buses serve the railway from Ashford, Canterbury, Hastings, Rye, Folkestone, Dover. Check with Stagecoach for full details. A combined Bus and RH&DR Ticket is available on most Stagecoach Bus services in Kent and East Sussex. Call 08702 433711 for details.
By RailTravel via Ashford (Kent) to Folkstone Central and then by bus to Hythe. Alternatively travel via hastings to Rye and then by bus to New Romney. National Rail enquiries are on 0845 748 4950.
By CoachNational Express service 021 operates daily between London and Hythe, please telephone 08705 808080 for information. Several other companies operate excursions to the area during the summer please check with your local coach operator for details.
By AirThe railway is about 2 miles from Lydd Airport, which is conveniently situated for flights from both the UK and Continental Europe Telephone +44 (0) 1797 320000 for flight information etc.
