The Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway Association is a Registered Charity (No.1127688). As a heritage railway our objective is “To preserve and maintain the historic miniature trains and associated elements on the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway for the benefit and education of the public in particularly but not exclusively by the provision of a Heritage Centre as well as financial and human resources”.

During the winter months regular working parties are arranged, normally at about three weekly intervals. For those wishing to work on the railway during the operating season, training can be given in a number of jobs.

The Marshlander

The Marshlander is the quarterly heritage railway magazine sent exclusively to Association Members. It has been running since 1967 and aims to record events on the Railway from current news through recounting historical occasions. Each magazine contains updates from various departments on the railway as well as contributions from readers/members. There is space, currently, for up to 14 colour pictures.
